Fall Trends

Fall is my favorite time of year to shop. I love looking forward to the cooler temps, jacket weather, and the holidays. It's miserable in the 90's here and fall is still several weeks away, but that hasn't stopped me from browsing and buying some new clothes for the upcoming season.

Some of my favorite fall trends and colors come around every year. Similar to spring florals, fall plaids aren't exactly groundbreaking (per Devil Wear's Prada). I'm seeing plaid this year more in the form of pants, blazers, and shoes instead of the blanket scarves and flannels from the past few years.

In the last few years we have seen off the shoulder and bell sleeve tops.  Interesting sleeve options for fall include more of a balloon/blouson sleeve look.

I'm really loving jumpsuits and have started wearing them with a blazer to work. I think they can definitely be transitioned into fall with the right shoe.

Animal prints are nothing new, but still trendy for fall. Camo seems to be really hot this season. I've seen it everywhere! I bought some camo pants and a sweatshirt recently.
